ADM Queensland Defence Summit – 30 July 2026, Pullman Cairns International, QLD

The ADM Queensland Defence Summit is a one-day conference focused on Defence capability and strategy spanning Far North Queensland and the wider Pacific. It examines naval power projection from northern ports, sustainment and logistics networks for extended Pacific operations, critical infrastructure requirements, workforce challenges, investment priorities, supply chain resilience and pathways for local SMEs into Defence programs.

Why you should come:

• FNQ is emerging as a key staging area for Pacific-facing operations; understanding the infrastructure and logistics concepts here is essential for anyone positioning around northern bases and ports.
• The agenda explicitly covers critical infrastructure and sustainment networks, giving estate-focused firms early signals on where Defence and government see the pressure points and future spend.
• The mix of Defence, government, primes, academics and local SMEs makes it a useful forum to build relationships across the Queensland defence ecosystem and test market entry or growth strategies in the north.
